My research interests focus on transformative and mission-oriented innovation policy, the renewal of innovation ecosystems, and the capabilities related to sustainable transformations. I am particularly interested in the kinds of capabilities required for the renewal of societal systems and how these can be strengthened to address complex grand societal challenges. The migration system provides a perspective on how systems can leverage skills, promote equality, and evolve in response to changing societal needs.
