The Migration Institute of Finland carries out research collaboration with several universities, universities of applied sciences and central Finnish and foreign research communities. We are also involved in many other organisations, workgroups and committees, and we actively keep in touch with organisations of expatriate Finns.

Nordic Migration Research (NMR)
The Migration Institute of Finland coordinates the NMR network in 2019–2022.
The Federation of Finnish Learned Societies
The Institute was accepted as a member of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies in 2015.
