ALLOCATION OF GRANTS FROM THE NIILO AND HELEN M. ALHO FUND AND THE KAARLE HJALMAR LEHTINEN FUND FOR 2024

According to § 2 of the Statutes of the Alho Fund, the purpose of the Fund is to support research, documentation, publication and exhibition activities and international cooperation in the field of migration.

According to § 2 of the Lehtinen Fund’s Statutes, the purpose of the Fund is to support research on Finnish migration, especially to North America, and the documentation, research, publication, exhibition and congress activities of the Migration Institute.

The grant application is open from 25 March to 30 April 2024.

The average amount of the individual grants awarded from the funds is between €500 and €1,000.

The grants will be decided by the Board of the Migration Institute and the decisions will be announced in June. The grant will be announced in person and will also be published on the Migration Institute’s website.
