Project objective:
The project explores the integration of third-country immigrants in 13 mountain and rural areas in Europe. In Finland, the areas included in the study are North Karelia and the region of Jakobstad in Ostrobothnia. The Swedish-language unit of the Migration Institute of Finland is a local partner in the project. The main performer is the University of Eastern Finland.
