The Migration-Muuttoliike journal is published twice annually by the Migration Institute of Finland, with the aim of bringing topics of interest to be read among decision-makers, researchers and others working with these topics.
We welcome research-based articles, experience-based perspectives and book reviews on the topic of “Diverse Language Communities in Work and Everyday Life” to be considered for publication in the next journal number, to be published in Spring 2024. The articles are 3-7 pages (12 000 – 28 000 characters with spaces), and book reviews and other texts 1-3 pages (4 000 – 12 000 characters with spaces). The texts can be written in Finnish, Swedish, and English or, in this theme issue, also in other languages with translations.
Please send a brief abstract (150-200 words) to linda.backman@migrationinstitute.fi and sari.vanhanen@migrationinstitute.fi by 19 January 2024. We will inform of acceptance by 31 January, and the texts are due 15 March. The theme issue will be published in May 2024.
