The Emigrant Register maintained by the Migration Institute of Finland has been supplemented today with the addition of Martyrology of Ingrian Finns. This list contains personal data on more than six thousand Finns who died in the persecutions carried out by Soviet leader Stalin in the 1930s.

The main sources for the martyrology compiled by Ms. Tyyne Martikainen are Russian matrices, interviews with relatives of the victims, and a list of Russian Finns collected by the journalist Eila Lahti-Argutina, which itself is also available through the Emigrant Register.

The Emigrant Register can be found on the website of the Migration Institute of Finland.
