Som Migrationsinstitutets direktör ansvarar jag för att leda, utveckla och övervaka genomförandet av vår stiftelses syfte, samt organisera dess operativa aktiviteter. Jag har forskat i styrning av gränsöverskridande intimitet och familjeåterförening, särskilt ur ett myndighetsperspektiv, samt i medierepresentationer av (tvångs)migration. Jag är chefredaktör för Migrationsinstitutets publikationsserie samt dess Migration-Muuttoliike-journal.
